Carcasonne to London via Toulouse

And so we bid an early morning farewell to our last hotel of our bike adventure.

The bus to Toulouse airport was outside our hotel at 7:00am, and all of the cyclists except two were getting ready to board - the exceptions being Les, who was continuing on to Barcelona, and David, who was taking a train back to London via Paris (fear of flying perhaps). David deserves a blog to himself - older than all of us, stronger than most of us, and determined to do his own thing. He did need a bit of "mothering" at times though.

Steve did his paperwork, and the rest of us wondered when the right time to say our "goodbyes" might be - here, at the airport, in London, or at another time.
